From Ski Hill to Four-Season Park

Denton Hill opened as a state-run ski area in 1951. The state operated it until 1979, private operators ran it until skiing ended in 2014, and in 2023 Pennsylvania DCNR partnered with local company Denton Go to turn it into a four-season destination. The work is ongoing, with upgraded trails, cabins, campsites and a lodge that hosts weddings and events.

• A lodge for weddings, retreats and celebrations

• Hiking and mountain biking trails, with an equestrian campground coming soon

• Winter cross-country skiing and snowshoeing that connects to the Denton Hill cross-country ski trail system in Susquehannock State Forest
